Notary Public Services
Much like other notaries I provide a service to private individuals and to businesses or other organisations engaged in international trade or investment abroad.
The most common tasks are:-
- Authenticating company and business documents and transactions
- Attesting or authenticating powers of attorney for use abroad, for instance in connection with the purchase or sale of a foreign property
- Providing documents to deal with the administration of the estates of those who are abroad or own property abroad
- Authenticating personal documents and information (for example passports, degree certificates) for immigration or emigration purposes or for applications to work abroad or marry abroad
- Attesting affidavits or declarations for use abroad
- Certifying the proper execution or signing of any sort of document to be used overseas and if required confirming that it will be binding in English law
Additional Services I Can Offer
- I can arrange for and advise on legalisation of documents by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office or by other Embassies or Consulates. If legalisation is needed and is urgent I can arrange for a specialist firm to provide a speedy legalisation service at reasonable cost and for documentation to be couriered to a destination if necessary
- I can arrange for documents in a foreign language to be translated
- I can arrange to attend you at home or on your business premises if this is necessary
- I can arrange to see you if necessary outside office hours
